DUAL FX Erica Synths

Erica Synths Dual FX Module

To add some reverb and/or delay to your music and sound design – or other interest effects like a pitch-shifter to create harmonies – the Dual FX module offers two identical sections of 8 custom effects with two controllable parameters.

Dual FX combines two channels of effects — each filled with eight custom effects banks with two adjustable parameters per effect –  and an analogue dry/wet circuit. The output of the first FX section is normalised to the second input so creating huge layers of effects is easy.

For more, see the video demo from the module designer (below).

To turn off an effect channel, just turn the Dry/Wet knob to dry (full counter-clockwise).

With the DUAL FX module, you have two separate input channels for audio effects. Use the select button (one per side) to choose an effect for each respective channel (FX1 and FX2). The panel of red lights will tell you what effect you are using (see right).

  • Parameters 1 and 2 (per channel) control variables like size (e.g., of the reverb space/room; and how fast/slow and how many times the delay repeats.
